Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 5, 2026 · Last updated: August 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LevelUp Technologies LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company (“LevelUp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Trendline website at trytrendline.com and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you create an account and use the Service, we collect the information you give us, including:
- Account information — your email address and password (stored in hashed form).
- Models and preferences — the filters, models, and alert settings you create and save.
- Communications — messages you send us, such as support requests to help@trytrendline.com.
Payment information. When you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details. We receive limited billing information such as your subscription status, plan, and the last four digits and card type — but we do not collect or store your full card number. See Section 5.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we and our analytics providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, features used, referring pages, and timestamps. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 3).
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including saving your models and delivering alerts;
- process subscriptions, payments, and renewals;
- authenticate you and secure your account;
- respond to your requests and provide customer support;
- understand how the Service is used and improve its features and performance;
- send you service-related and, where permitted, promotional communications (you can opt out of marketing messages); and
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and violations of our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. We use Google Analytics to measure and analyze traffic and usage. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes data such as your IP address and interactions with the Service; its use of that data is governed by Google’s privacy policy. You can learn about opting out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies, some features of the Service may not function properly.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
| Recipient | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Service providers (hosting, email, analytics) | To operate and support the Service on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality obligations. |
| Stripe | To process subscription payments securely. |
| Google Analytics | To measure and analyze usage of the Service. |
| Legal & safety | To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of LevelUp, our users, or others. |
| Business transfers | In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy. |
5. Payment Information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. Stripe collects and processes your payment card information under its own privacy policy and security standards (PCI-DSS). We do not receive or store your full card details. We recommend reviewing Stripe’s privacy policy to understand how it handles your payment information.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After you close your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements. Aggregated or de-identified data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained and used indefinitely.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at help@trytrendline.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. You can also:
- update your account information in your account settings;
- opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages; and
- manage cookies through your browser and opt out of Google Analytics as described in Section 3.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption of passwords and secure handling of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at help@trytrendline.com.
10. International Users
We are based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
